| In vitro(体外研究) | Diaveridine (DVD) is a pyrimethamine analogue, a folic acid antagonist. It is also used as an antibacterial agent, especially for the respiratory and gastrointestinal tract infections in humans and animals. Diaveridine is genotoxic in mammalian cells in vitro and in vivo. |
| In vivo(体内研究) | Acute tests indicate that the diaveridine has a high LD50 value and suggests a wide margin of safety for therapeutic doses. |
